Just us
My legs bring me to the perfect place
As if I’m floating
So light, so effortless
Like a magnet calling me softly to where I have to be
My bare feet touch the ground
My body makes its own shapes
Movements that nourish every cell
My mind rests in it
Allows my body to lead
Shaking off what doesn’t serve
Gently touching the air
Fingers playing
The water invites me in
Embraces me with her cold
With her delicious darkness
We become one
When the ground leaves my feet
It’s just us
I am welcome
