Wild child
(an invitation)
Let them be wild
Let their sounds come out
Let them cheer
and celebrate life
Let them scream and roar
Let them clap and laugh
Let them jump
and wrestle and climb
Let them be angry
Let them rage
Let them hear
what their voice has to say
Let them wonder around
get lost and upset
Let them “not know”
and search for and find
Let them be naked
and dance outside
Let them soak in the rain
and the dirt
Let them explore
and be wildly excited
Let them cry and
be by their side
Let them be what they are
Let them stare and observe
Let them live
Let them learn what they love
Let them be pure
Let them be child
Let curiosity
and liveliness thrive
